Looking Back and Ahead

The three chairs crafted for us by R.Wor.Bro Lanny Salmon and newly upholstered are installed in the east and look striking. It was agreed to have the chaplain’s chair upholstered and obtain cushions for the other officer’s chairs in the same fabric.

The Lodge held a Memorial Service to remember ten brothers who have passed to TGLA since 2020, laying a white rose on the altar for each one.

Brother Mitchell Brown from Union Lodge No. 7 gave a thought-provoking address about mental health and his 3-5-7 initiative.

Right Worshipful Brother Tom Peddle chaired a lodge of discussion about the Condition of Masonry report, how to interpret it, how it ties in with Cornerstone, and ways to act on what is contained in it,

Brother Anthony Saracino received his Masonic certificate.

Brother Junior Warden, Scott Goheen, invited us to “loaf night” – thee different fruit loaves accompanied by ice cream. Sumptuous!

To avoid holding a lodge meeting on Maundy Thursday, next month’s lodge meeting will be held on Monday, April 14th rather than the usual third Thursday. The CGP will take place on the previous Monday, April 7th. Elections and step-up night will form the work of the evening.
